Yes! Precisely. Would love to see the wiki full of useful scripts like that!
Wish I could produce some myself, but I cannot. :(
Hmm, that gives me an idea for another thread...
Hey Chris,
Attaching a script as you suggest would not be a problematic approach for me - I just don't know how to create such a script. :)
In the WYSIWYG, programming-free spirit of AC, maybe the way to go would be to just create a gang of these ty…
Hey there! Sorry to resurrect this thread, but have a quick question about getting this awesome script to work.
I've got it going 100% with the exception of one problem - STM cannot, of course, read from the Adventure Creator speech token system...!…
Sorry Chris, just one question - the way you've sorted it, will it work in the AC menu system or will this indeed be the part where I jump over to Unity UI?
Let me know, thanks!
Sorry, I didn't mean 'Super Text Mesh' - I meant 'Text Mesh Pro'. That's the one I'm thinking of integrating.
Just in case that matters or something. :)
I'm using the AC menu system, but the ability to do this could push me off the ledge into Unity UI...! I'd been thinking of making the jump to try out integration with 'Super Text Mesh' regardless.
If one would be a lot less tricky for you to implem…
Great news: It worked!
To anyone else trying to do this who finds this thread, one key thing to remember, though I don't know if it will happen to everyone: When I added the curve that transformed the position of the Hotspot Detector, by default it …
Excellent, fellas - I was fairly sure this was a Unity thing and so didn't want to bug anybody beyond asking for a push along the best trajectory. I'm sure I can figure it out from here, and I'll report back if this does indeed work...!
Hey Chris,
Thanks! I've moved my Hotspot Detector to be a child object of the sprite to start with. Animating the position of it seems like an idea that should work, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it - can you point me in the right direction…
That works! Thanks, Chris. Of course, I also had to then reverse it right after that final line to get it back to its previous state.
I think I'll make it a little more efficient in my game by doing both of these things via an ActionList (One action…
Thanks! The game is now available on Vita. Check it out on the PS Store, and pick it up to see a good-looking Adventure Creator logo in the opening splash screen. :)
Also, if you'd like to see the early goings of another game I'm building in Adventure Creator, you can check out my new game LITTLE RED LIE:

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to drop in and add that I've now solved this problem - it was some sort of problem related to the fact that I still had a lot of files kicking around from the AC demo directories. A huge amount of unnecessary stuff must ha…
Updated to 6.4.2 and now I'm all good! Thanks Chris and community.
Also, confirming that the cross-scene save-loading bug has been fixed! Super awesome.
Happy AC'ing, everybody. :)
