Nope...Basically, I checked everything that had something in the actionlist editor (clicking the icon on the right) but the actions are nowhere to be found. And the dialogue still happens...By the way thanks a lot, you are really patient!

Also I followed the onscreen advice for putting Hotspot and Box Collider 2d on the child sprite, and changed the layer of the root object
