as I said...the play while game is paused function is corrupted...and after the reply from the unity technologies member I don't know if the beahviour is correct...
Nevermind! Figured it out! :P
if someone have the same issue I just used a guitexture.
Guitexture are not like the normal gui...the camera depths on the guitextures are calculated so it solved my issue.

The player scripts doesn't update when u select mecanim...he will release a small update asap :)
If I understood what u mean I can suggest to u the method I used. I have a simple script attached to the main camera with 2 functions ( "turnoneffects" and "turnofeffects" ) . Then depends on the menu clicked I run an action list…
I was thinking...isn't much simpler to just have planes to simulate the textures in the 3d world and link them to the the interaction method? there is a simple way to link an object in the scene to an action list?

I assigned a constant id to the main camera. then I did a script with void TurnOnEffect and void TurnOffEffect attached to the maincamera. Then I went into the menu manager and…
