Hey folks!
More of a general question. Curious how others may have tackled this.
I'm finding as my game and scenes grow it takes longer and longer to reach points in the progression I want to check and test. For instance, one scene might have dialogue that kicks in OnStart, but if I want to quickly test something in that scene I don't want to have to sit through it each time...etc
I totally realise in that example that I could delink the OnStart script, but do you get my gist?
How have you set things up to easily allow yourself to quickly get through things? Like, have you setup shortcuts to give all inventory objects?...etc Interested in your tricks!
Thanks!

As an alternative to assigning a Cutscene in the singular On Start field, you can instead attach the ActionList Starter component and configure it to run when the scene begins.
This way of de-coupling game logic from the scene itself is covered in the new Logic Prefabs tutorial.
Hey man! super late reply, but may be useeful too you!

I made this script a while back to assign a action list to P which allows me to trigger it whenever I need it.
