Hi,
I wanted to keep a scene preloaded throughout the game as it's one of the heavier scenes and I assumed the scene would be loaded quicker when needed if it was kept in the memory? I currently have it preloading when the intro cutscene of the game plays, however when I switch scenes the "scenename (loading)" is gone from the hierarchy so I assume it has got rid of the data? Am I looking at this right, if so is there a way to keep it loaded in the memory at all times?

It's only possible to load in one scene's data at a time - preloaded or not. Once you switch scene, the preloaded data will be discarded.
This is using Unity's provided scene-preloading/loading techniques, so I'm not show how this may be changed.
