Hi,
My player doesn't seem to walk to the edge of a nav mesh, and instead stops at his waist rather than stopping at his feet and using the full space of the nav mesh.
Rather than extending the nav mesh to an area that is not natural for the scene, am I doing something wrong with my player that is stopping him using the full nav mesh?

Is this issue specific to just this NavMesh, or is it down to the Player? If you move an NPC about (or a different Player prefab), does the issue still occur? What is the scale/position of the NavMesh's Transform? There used to be a bug related to NavMeshes that were scaled up, but that should have been fixed quite some time ago.
