First-Person Camera with Switching?

I have a first person camera set up player character, I have close up scenes where I want to click and zoom into an interactive close up.

Unfortunately a FP cam after running a cut scene, jumps back to the FP cam – as described by others such as in

https://adventurecreator.org/forum/discussion/577/first-person-camera-not-switching

I have tried solving using the Engine: Manage systems Action to switch to the movement method None, but I can’t get the mouse cursor displaying, or allowing it to be moved about on screen. I think it’s still locked in centre and so hidden because of the settings ‘hide cursor when locked in centre’.

I’m using the Unity 2018.2.11f1 and AC 1.65.0

  • What is the state of your cursor at the time of the lock?

The Engine: Manage systems Action can also be used to unlock the cursor.

I was doing something wrong. In First Person, the cursor is locked to centre and hidden by the AC settings options.

When going to another camera I am using...

    Engine: Manage systems setting –>

    Movement method: None
    Cursor: Enabled

What I was forgetting to do was use...

Player: Constrain ->  Cursor Lock: Disabled
