Yes, sorry I forgot about this thread. The players are both identical. I duplicated the original player and just replaced the model. But it no longer happens since I updated to the latest Adventure creator version so no worries.
I was able to hack around it by changing the Trigger detect type for all my triggers to Any Object With Component and setting the Component name to "Player". If anyone is having the same problem, hopefully this helps.
Finally figured it out.
I
accidentally left a Playmaker GUI object in my scene hidden deep in
some hierarchy (I must have dragged it there by accident) and it was
controlling the cursor visibility. Hopefully this helps somebody using Playmaker …
I believe you can set the foot steps right in the Player script. So add the Player (script) to your character, scroll down to Audio and set the footstep walking and running sounds.
You can change those with triggers when you enter a different area…

Right. I think the issues are most likely related to different browsers and possibly firewall settings. If you don't mind, I am going to make the game downloadable for Windows and Mac. Trying it then would be of more use.
The game is not intended …
It's still a work in progress, but I am more than happy to hear feedback. Thanks for taking the time to test it. I haven't seen any issues on my end so I am quite curious as to the problems you ran into.
My wife put together a website as well. It is now available if you want to get a quicker look at the general concept and graphics.
