Footsteps problem

I've attached a footstep script to the player and added sounds to it, when i walk on grass i want a different sound, so i made a trigger when i enter the grass area the footsteps sounds change to more like a grass walk, and i made another trigger on exit from the grass to return to the default footsteps. If i'm in the grass area and save the game, return to the game, the grass footsteps sounds don't work, only the default one, i've atached a remember footstep sound on the player.

  • Attach the Remember Footstep Sounds component to the Player to record which footstep sounds are currently being used.

    However, the method of changing sounds has changed recently - what's your AC version? Rather than using Triggers and manually changing AudioClips each time, the recommended approach is to use the Surfaces Editor and have the Player auto-detect which surface they are over using Physics Materials.
