Inventory slots left empty

Hi,

I'm finding my Inventory is being left with empty InventoryBox slots. As I use items in game, I'm using Remove Last Selected or Remove Specific Item, on some hotspots Action Scripts and Cutscenes etc, but my inventory bar is left with the empty slot previously used.

How to bunch my items back together and so clear those empty slots away? I've tried a variety of options show on AC menu pallet but couldn’t get it to work.

I've updated to AC 1.81.7, I'm using Unity 2022.3.51f1

    This'll be the default behaviour if you have Items can be re-ordered in Menus? checked in the Settings Manager - is this the case?
