I need a script where I either:
A - run an action list to close my inventory on cutscene
B - run a script that changes variable, runs animation and turns off menu on cutscene
Can you help?

You'd need to rephrase this and provide more detail.
Sure, so when I use an object in scene from my inventory, it stays open but instead I would like it to force close on interaction. So, if I use an object and a cutscene runs, I would like the inventory to close. I could do this by running the close inventory actionlist. or, the script itself could contain the code commands to Animate the inventory shut, turn open inventory to false and turn off the menu.
The Events Editor can be used to run an ActionList whenever a Hotspot is interacted with, via the "Hotspot / Interact" event.
