Hello,
I have couple of NPC objects.
-I created prefabs from them.
-they are available in the scene.
-they have retain in prefab selected
-their constantids are same with the prefabs
but when I gather text the speaker of the npcs are shown as Narrator
this happens for the dialogues that are available on action list assets, not on cutscenes
the dialogue actions show the same constantid when the prefab or scene character is assigned
do I miss something?

What is your AC version, and do the Actions in ActionList asset files refer to the prefab, or the scene instance of the NPC?
If the scene instance, try instead assigning the prefab.
