Changing Character jump

Hi Chris

I have a bizarre bug with the character swapping. When I swap characters, they jump across to somewhere else, resulting in teleporting and breaking the game.
I get this message in console:

Is there a way to fix this kind of jumping issue?

    If your Player: Switch Action is used to have the new Player replace an NPC that's present in the scene, then that NPC will be teleported out of view to make way for them.

    What is going on visually, and what is it you're trying to do exactly?
