"Always Walk" and "Always Run" by script

Hello, I am sorry that this one may be very basic, could you please tell me the correct script to implement the player constrains of always walk and always run. I couldn't find it in the scripting guide..I found runlock but it seems not working for always run.

  • It is indeed runLock:

    AC.KickStarter.playerInput.runLock
    

    It's effect will vary with movement method. How are you moving your player?

  • Oh I get it now. I thought runlock is only for making the player cannot run. Now I see it is to use with the PlayerMoveLock options. Thanks.

  • I am using Direct control, so runlock really does the trick.
