PLS HLP - how to ensure player doesn't walk in conversation

HI,

Sometimes I find that if I click repeatedly, my player can go walkies in the middle of a conversation to where my pointer is situated. What is the best way to stop this? on ActionListTurnedOn in Conversation Menu, if I have movement disabled in Engine:Manage Systems, then the player does not animate. Any easy way around this?

Thanks

James

As in, while the dialogue options are displayed?
    1. What are your AC and Unity version numbers?
    2. Check List active ActionLists in Game window? at the bottom of the Settings Manager.  What does the top-left window display when you are able to move at the wrong time like this?
    3. Do you have any Active Inputs running or any custom scripts that might be responding to mouse-clicks and interfering?
  • Hi,

    1. Latest AC and Unity.

    2. The ActionLists that are turned on are the usual dialogue option and the Conversation_When_Turn_On, see screenshots with video in link below -  It seems that I can move if i click anywhere in between convo options,

    3. no custom scripts that would effect this:

    Please see video and screeshsnots:

    Thanks

    James

  • Recreated, will work on a fix.  Use of the Engine: Manage systems Action to prevent movement will not be necessary.
  • ok great thanks
