I have my inventory pause gameplay when I bring it up on key press, and like my Pause menu, this pauses gameplay and music. I am wondering if there is an option to have the music continue playing on the inventory, but still be stopped when the game accesses the Pause menu?

You can then use the Sound: Play music Action to pause and resume your music when the Pause menu is turned on. You can do this by creating such Actions in ActionLists that run when your Pause Menu is turned on and off, as assigned in the Menu Manager.
