Idea: Camera Spin Rotation constrain

It would be neat to have constraints on a camera with Spin Rotation, like some of the other camera movements have. When looking at Target, it's easy for the camera to go inside walls etc when there's no way to constrain the max/min rotation values.

  • Spin constraint is possible so long as the Affect by field is not set to Look At Target.

    If your GameCamera is relatively stationary, you should be able to get similar behaviour (with constraint) setting this instead to Target Across Screen.

  • Thanks, but I can't seem to make the camera follow the player properly with Target Across Screen. Probably my scene/camera angle and perspective that makes it difficult for the camera to behave like I want. I think Cinemachine has the same limitations, so it might not be an easy problem to solve when you have a target to follow. I work around it with colliders and swapping cameras.
