it's not a big deal, but when enabling/disabling the in-editor preview settings, sometimes an exception is generated. I guess a simple null-check could avoid this.
Rider is also suggesting me this:

A null-check is already in place to attempt to combat this, but it seems Unity still takes issue with it.
