Pause Menu no cursor in Build

im having a problem.
When I build my game and play it, I see a cursor. However the moment I pause the game, the cursor disappears.

Ive tried using Unity Prefab UI, Unity In Scene UI and there's still no cursor in the menu. I've tried both hardware and software rendering.

I looked on this forum but I've gotten to answers.

  • The Menu's Source option won't affect cursor display, but the cursor can optionally be set to hide when the game is paused in favour of directly-controlling menus with a keyboard.

    If your Settings Manager's Input method is set to Keyboard Or Controller, then your Menu Manager should have a field named Directly-navigate Menus when paused?. Is this unchecked?

    If this is unchecked, and the issue still occurs, please share images of your Settings and Menu Managers, as well as your AC/Unity version numbers and build platform.
