Pause after Sound

Hello All!

I have a dialog back and forth with characters.  I basically have a Sound object play the VO, then I show the dialog.  There seems to be a pause after the dialog.  I am wondering if I should have it to the Speech portion of AC.

Example:
Engine->Play Sound
Dialog->Play Speech (shows pause)
Engine->Play Sound
Dialog->Play Speech (shoes pause)

I have cut out any leading deadspace in my VO at the beginning and end.  

I am open to suggestions and I can post a link to my game if needed.

  • Why aren't you using AC's ability to play speech audio automatically?  Sorry, I'm not following what's going on here.
  • I never could get the NPC to play the sound until I figured out the solution.....

    Put an Audio Source on the NPC!

    Now the Dialog is working the way I wanted it, thanks!
