Pre-requisites for running Adventure Creator?

Hi, I'm a total newbie here. I downloaded the free version of Unity a little while ago, and was wondering if Adventure Creator only works with the paid 'Pro' version of Unity. Can I still download and run Adventure Creator with the free version of Unity and publish my own games onto steam?

    Certainly - AC works with Unity Free, Plus and Pro, and built games that you make with it can be done with it as you like.
