Input right to left - save to string

When I write something using the right to left option in the input I see it correctly on the screen, but if I save it as a string variable I see the letters in reverse order.

So, if I write on the keyboard the following keys:

123456

I see on the screen the following txt:

654321

But if I save the input to a variable I still see

123456

Not sure if this was inteded. For me I think it would be more useful to have the text in the same order also if saved as a string.

I saw this when going over the right-to-left requests earlier - should be fixed in 1.39.
