Subtitles UI - Button doesn't work

I can't make a simple button to work. I've created many custom Menus till now and I didn't had any problems but with the SubtitlesUI when I add a button to it and link it, it doesn't work. Basically I'm trying to create a skip button that closes the dialogue (Subtitle UI) and continues to next action.
"I've checked Display subtitles forever until user skips it" and I've tried several ways to skip it but nothing worked because it seems that the button doesn't trigger anything when I click it. (I tested with turn off menu , run action I even assign a sound on click to check if it works but still when I click it nothing happens. Any ideas what might be the problem?
