Unit scale

edited September 2017 in Technical Q&A
I apologize for perhaps obvious question.
I would use the 3ds max utility camera match on 2D background to try to get the camera position values and I should set the unit of measurement to match that of AC.
What is the unit of measure used in Adventure Creator? For example if "x" of a camera is 10 what real measure do I have to consider?
I have read that "... Unity's default unit scale is 1 unit = 1 meter ...", so the "x" of the camera would be 10 meters?
Thank you

  • AC doesn't have a scale of it's own, since it's still relying on Unity's transforms/components to do any rendering.

In Unity, 1 unit = 1 m but I think that's more of a recommendation than a hard-set rule.  But it's Unity you'll have to consider rather than AC when setting the value.  I'd say 10m for 10 units should be OK.
