Touch screen - hotspot then interaction question

Not sure if I'm missing something...

My setup is:

Input: Touch screen

Method: hotspot then interaction.

The behavior I get is that when I touch a hotspot, first the name pops up, then I have to touch again to get the interaction options.

But because I am setting all the hotspot names to blank, this obviously makes the game appear broken as you have to tap twice to get a hotspot to "work".

So my question is:

Is this normal behaviour for AC?

And if it is, is there an option to immediately open up the options?

(input: keyboard and mouse does the intended behavior.)

That's the default behaviour, to prevent players accidentally triggering Hotspots if they don't know where they are.

You can disable this by unchecking Activate Hotspots with double-tap? in the Settings Manager.  This is covered in the Manual - see Section 2.3.3.

If you don't want Hotspot labels to ever show, you can lock or delete the Hotspot menu - no need to give them all blank names.
