Object overlay in the same layer.

Hi.
When my player is in the same layer as an object you can see the player through it like in this picture.

This didn't happen before, but I must have changed something in the player object or his child. I want the player to appear behind the object inspite being in the same layer, how should I do it?

  • This could be more of a Unity issue than an AC one.  I would recommend loading both sprites into a fresh (non-AC) scene and try to fix them before involving AC.

    Do they both use the same shader?  It looks as though the tree has a transparency to it - either from the image file itself, or the shader's alpha value.
  • Solved by adding to my project the same player from an old backup of the same project. I've been checking both player prefabs inspectors and they are both identically the same, isn't weird?
    Anyway, loading an old prefab of the player did the trick. Thanks Chris.
