Walk sound doesn't match speed of my character

Hi,
I use a sound when my character walks but he doesn't walk as fast as the sound..
Is there a way to slow down my sound or do I have to import it with the perfect speed?

  • You can lengthen the delay between sounds by inserting a silence to the end of the sound file itself.

    Alternatively, you can remove the sound clips from your Player / NPC Inspector and use the dedicated "Footstep Sounds" component instead, which gives more options for fine-tuning the way they're played.
