Player: Switch action not persisting through scenes

Hello,

I've tried looking this up but it doesnt look like I'm finding a solution that works for me, but I'm having a problem where I am switching the player, then when I go into a scene where the default player was, it goes to that player. 

I have a scene that starts with the default player swapped out. After that, I go to a scene where the default player is used and using its player markers. Ive seen where it has been said that it should persist. Here is some information that was asking in the other threads:


Thats the action in the onStart cutscene. Cop is the new character to play as. That prefab is currently tagged as Player and was created in the character creator wizard. I am using AC version 1.54b and Unity version 5.3.4.f1. 

I am sure I am missing something stupid but I could greatly appreciate anyones help.

  • I have fixed my own issue. I had the player prefab already added in the scene before letting AC add it in there. Removing it from the game scene allowed it to persist the character change.

    Keeping this solution here incase anyone else has this problem:)
