I would like a menu to pop up when clicking on a hotspot so that the player can choose if he wish to do stuff or not... Is there an easy way out there?
If it's just a one-off, you can create a Menu in the Menu Manager that contains Yes/No buttons, and use the Menu: Change state Action to turn on the Menu as part of the Hotspot's Interaction.
Otherwise, you can set your game's Interaction method to Choose Hotspot Then Interaction. This is explained more thoroughly in the Manual, but it essentially allows icons to appear when clicking a Hotspot (e.g. "Use", "Look" etc) to choose the type of Interaction to make. You can rename/restyle these in the Cursor and Menu Managers. For a practical example, the 2D Demo uses this style.
