Cant go from hotspot to interaction

It has happened a few times now. I create a new project, make interactions, hotspots etc and everything works. At some point, something happens that makes the hotspots stop triggering the interactions I want and instead freezes the game... 

Hope someone can help me out! Its hard to troubleshoot for me.

on the hotspot, there is a small enabled checkbox near the action. is that deactivated, would explain it.

Please let us know the version of Unity you are using, if this occurs in the Editor, and try to provide some steps to recreate this from a fresh scene.  The more detail you can provide, the more likely we can help.

To debug this, try checking List Active ActionLists in Game window? at the bottom of the Settings Manager.  You'll then be able to see what state the game is in at all times, as well as which Interactions are running.
