NPC wont move.

Hi I have an NPC with I hope all set-up ok, path script ok, mechanim parameter set to MoveSpeed and transition from Idle (not sure if thats needed however)

OnStart cutscene set to run in background, I want him to move along a path, till the player gets close, which will then trigger a conversation. He is set to teleport to start, and he does that, but does NOT move or play any animation. 

What should I have a look at? (or post pics of?)

yeah, scheenshots of setup (or videos) is always easier to determine whats wrong.
