Subtitles repositioned to different heights in each scene

I am finding that my subtitles above characters are repositioned lower on certain scenes so they cover the characters head, on some scenes they are fine, but others they are positioned really high, or others really low, some to the left of the character to much and some perfect.

What would be the reason for this?

Do the same characters that work also don't work, or is there a clear distinction?

Are you using Speech menu placement childs?  If so, check if they're being positioned incorrectly after a scene change.  If not, the speech position should be set by the height of their colliders - so check if the colliders are somehow different.
