Which button for running input - first person player - error message

Hi all,
maybe my question is a little stupid, I tried to set a button into the in InputManager for running action of my first person player.
I tried to use the "shift" key, but the InputManger doesn't accepts the word "shift". Now I use the "y" key temporaly.
How I could use the shift key?

My second question is, every time I did a change into the player options and I starts the scene, I got an error message like the screenshot shows below. I have to restart Unity completely and after restart the error message is gone. Is there a solution for this problem?

  • 1) You have to specify which of the two shift keys.  "left shift" and "right shift" are treated separately.

    2) Are you using Unity 5.3?  There is a bug with it that is causing errors when changing the player prefab.  A workaround fix will be introduced in the next AC update.
  • Hi Chris, Shift key is working now and yes, I'm using Unity 5.3 . Thanks for your help.
