Exit Conversation after a variable reach a value

edited July 2014 in Technical Q&A
I'm trying to exit a Conversation after the Player repeat it a defined number of times.
I set a New dialogue option with the Return to converation when finished. Inside this dialogue there's a variable count (+1 everytime he say this dialogue) and a variable check. Until that variable doesn't reach the value, it must return to conversation. And this is ok.
But when this variable reach, for example 4, the NPC says "Go away jerk" and the conversation should finish, but I cannot make it exit. Even if the variable reach its value, it return to converation...
How can I set a sort of "Turn off" like for a Manual menu?
Thanks for the suggestions.

BTW: there's a digitation error, not a big problem but is from long time I see it. In the "When finished" there's "Return to converation" instead of converSation.
:)

  • I know, but I'm not sure if correcting it will break existing projects!

Instead of setting it to Return to Conversation, do it the other way around: exit the conversation, and if the number is less than 4, re-start the conversation.
  • I like Converation, don't break anything!  :P

Why I didn't find this solution... why??? Tx for your suggestion Chris!
