Change all ingame text?

I'm doing some work on the speech, journals and hotspot text in my game. It's a pretty big project with 40+ scenes and 700+ text lines, and I wonder what would be the fastest way of editing all the text without going into each and every action.

Can I use the speech translation options somehow? Or export and import my text? Or should I just make a translation and use that as the original language?
