Autosave - How often (your opinion plz)

Hello,

Just wondering on everyone's point of view in regards to autosaving...

How often should the game autosave? 
Before each scene?
After a puzzle?

What's your opinion?

I would say definitely at the beginning of each scene, and after completing what you feel is a complex puzzle, or a long conversation with a character. Also, it should autosave after successfully finishing a QTE, if it includes a fail state wherein the player can be killed.

As a rule of thumb, I'd say after each cut scene.

Ok, is this over the top?

I got one after each cutscene, where a cutscene is a long section of story, I also have one after a puzzle, and after speaking with a character (on the goodbye)
