NavMesh Extension

I'm trying to see if I can exploit the NavMeshExtension found in the asset store with Adventure Creator.  I was able to get it to create and bake a navmesh and get player to use.  But I seem to run into problems trying to use HotsSpots, etc.  Has anyone done this?  Is there a spot to tell Adventure Creator to use that tool for navigation instead of building into each character?  Any comments are appreciated?

  • Have you been over Section 12.4 of the Manual?  Custom navigation engines can be integrated by writing a subclass of NavigationEngine.
  • Thanks for taking the time to reply and I will check that out. I did some more testing and think I've got it working by updating the player char but good to know I could override the nav engine if I need to, Regards John
