Suggestion Background Texture selection

When we select a background texture in AC Game Editor (Inventory, Menu, Cursor...)it always offer to choose an unique Sprite texture (Sprite mode single)

I would like to be able to choose a picture inside a Sprite which is sliced in sub-pictures (Sprite mode Multiple)

For performance purpose(one draw call) it is better to have a single image which can be sliced

A nice suggestion, but difficult to implement.  I will consider it.

I realise this is an old post, but have you tried implementing this?

Sliced sprites can't be used directly, but single sprites now can be.  You can then define a Packing tag for those sprites and pack them so that they are merged into a single image.
