Combine triggers

Is there anyway to combine triggers together into a shape thats not square? I want to use a trigger to show a message in an L shaped environment, so whenever you go into it the message is shown. But I cant do this with a single trigger because of the shape. If I use 2 triggers then the message appears when i go from one trigger to another which I dont want. Im wondering maybe we can just make a trigger on sketchup any shape we want and add the trigger script? or maybe even normal cubes within a parent object?

Edit: it appears the trigger script always produces a box unfortunately

The Red box is just an indication of the Trigger's size.  You can replace the Box Collider component itself with a Mesh Collider, allowing you to have a Trigger of any shape you like.
