Animated Loading Screen

It seems like the loading scene is paused when it is displaying, is there a way that I can unpause it so it can have an animation?

    I don't believe so - the next scene begins loading as soon as the loading scene is displayed - how it behaves is down to Unity.

    Okay cool, I'll see if I can make a persistent gameobject that acts between scenes
