2D Sprite Bug when using overlaying Masks

I'm developing a 2.5D game.

Whilst using Unity 5, I notice that the 'tick' next to Sprite Renderer becomes 'unticked' whenever I run the game, thus making my overlaying masks invisible. They turn back on if I re-tick them during playback and also appear ticked during editing. They only turn off when 'Play' is pressed to test the game.

Comments

  • You'll need to assign a camera in the Limit Visibility component - or remove the component.  The idea is that you'd generally only want a mask to show in one particular view, so it'll need to be hidden otherwise.
