Mixamo chars and animations as PLAYER in AC

Hi, I am trying to create and download a Mixamo char (as Unity FBX) and a couple of animations for that char (as separate FBX files for each animation) and then get it all to work as PLAYER in the evil lair but I can't get the animations to work, All I get is a stiff T char without animation but where the awsd buttons work.
Can you tell what I am missing?

  • Without seeing what you've done already, it's hard to give specific advice.  But if no animations are playing at all, I'd recommend focusing on that working on it's own, before integrating it into AC.

    If you can get a character to default to idle, and then walk based on the value of a "movement speed" float parameter, then that'll be enough to get it working with AC.  If you're still having trouble, take some screenshots of what you've got so far, including the Animator controller window, and post them here.

    I actually did what you suggested and got it to work.
    I am sure we'll get stuck again and will get back when that happens!
