Parameterized ActionLists for Inventory

Hi,

for most inventory items I want to let the player say a short phrase through the look at interaction. I could now create an actionlist for each item with dialogue.playspeech. 

I figured, that is quite a waste and instead I converted the playerline into a string parameter. How can I set this parameter now when defining standard interactions in the inventory for an item? Being able to simply enter the text there (translatable) would save a lot of time (and files).

  • It is not possible - you need it to be in a unique Play speech Action so that you have access to translations, lip-sync, audio and timing features.
