Different playerstart depending on where you came from?


I am sure this must be super easy to do and has probably been answered in the past, but I can't figure it out at the moment so here goes: 

How can I spawn my player at different places in a level depending on the level he came from?

Should I use multiple playerstarts? Or use common markers? And how can I apply the "level you came from" logic?



  • What a noob... 10 seconds after posting I figure out the answer (of course!)

    The playerstart component has has a handy Previous Scene field (duh!)

    I am leaving this here in case others might be looking for this too.
