Combining AC with "Unity Stealth"-Elements

Hi everybody,

in my game a man needs to puzzle his way out of a lab where they experiment on people. I love what AC can do but now I would like to add some elements from the Unity Stealth Demo, like guards patroling or even coming after you once they see you (which would basically end the game)

What's the best approach to add those features - or can I simply combine the scripts from the demo with AC?
