Simple first person games

I’m making adventure games based on photos, displayed in first person, “slide show” format. I’ve used several engines over the years now. They are all out dated now, mostly due to the lack of automatic scaling down of screen resolution and portability. It seems like Adventure Creator has everything I need (and much more, of course). The question is if AC is suitable for this type of game.

I’ve looked at another alternative. Creating games like mine was totally possible with that engine, although extremely time consuming. Among other things, a main character had to be set up, although it wasn’t actually used in the game. That wasn’t a problem, but almost all possible actions had to be connected to this “fictional” character, and it had to be “fictonally” placed in every scene.

Nice idea, reminds me of the Neighbours game on the Amiga lol.. Im pretty sure AC is ideal for this!
