How to asign and use highligh in main player?

I would like to have the ability to use the main player with a hotspot and a highligh funtion to get some clickable  info out of the player (stats, inventory etc)

But even if it does let me use Hotspot script , i am unable to use highligh (object to highlight )

any way to work around it?

  • Placing a Hotspot on the Player isn't an "official" feature, but the Highlight should still work.  Do it at the prefab level - from your assets folder, give the Player a Highlight script and assign it to the Hotspot Inspector.  Be sure to place the Player on the Default layer, so that it can be picked up by the raycast.
