1) Plan the number of frames you want to animate and the size of the cursor required.
ie: 8 frames of 64x64 pixels
2) Create a blank 'film strip' of these frames in one PNG image
ie: 512x64
The frames run from left to right like this SINGLE image (download it and try it if you like)
3) Animate your cursor however you like and ensure each frame is precisely in the frame space you have planned it to be (otherwise it will move off-centre unplanned)
4) Save this single image as a PNG into your AC project where you can find it.
5) Go to the CURSOR editing tab in your Unity/AC project (Cursor Manager)
6) Find the cursor you want to change and put your 'filmstrip' into the texture.
It will look all squashed because the preview in the inspector just shows you all the frames in the image at once
7) Tick ANIMATE
8) Make sure the number of frames is exactly the same (in this case= 8)
9) Set the frame rate initially to quite low like 2 or 4 so that you can see all the frames slowly play and then change to your taste.
