GetCollectedDocumentIDs returning no documents?

I'm currently trying to access the players' collected documents via script so I can have them shown via Unity Prefab in the player menu, but whenever I try to use AC.KickStarter.runtimeDocuments.GetCollectedDocumentIDs(), the list is coming back empty.

Currently I have one document that I want to test this functionality with. I've tried checking "Carry on start" as well as just adding it using the Document: Add or Remove action, but when I open the menu, the Start() function on the menu runs & the list of collected documentIds comes back empty. Is there some other way of accessing the players' collected documents via code or is it possible I'm just doing something wrong?

  • That is the correct method, but I'm not detecting any issue with your workflow based on your description. What's your AC version, and are you relying on Player-switching? Any screenshots you can share may help clarify the setup.

It may help to save your game, and then view that save-file in the Save-game File Manager (via the Save game section of the Settings Manager). Underneath the Player data section, what does the "Collected Documents" line look like?
