best practise for shooting - or other loud - animatios

I have a shooting scene in a bank, but don't want to player to hear it before he's in front of the bank. Should I set the animations off or something else?

    How are the animations tied to the audio?

    If the audio has a 3D spacial blend, how loud it is depends on its distance from the Audio Listener (by default, attached to the MainCamera), and its falloff value. This is based on Unity's audio system, however, not AC.
